September 8th 2007- Bali, Indonesia- A dive site known as Jemeluk Bay, which is located near the Amed area of North East Bali. The area around Amed is very dry and not suitable for rice, so the local population depends heavily on the tourism trade. That has helped the dive operators ink deals with local villagers to protect the in-shore reefs, with fishermen promising to drop their lines out at sea.
